Laplink Unveils “Move Now, Pay Later” Partner Stimulus Program
Available invoice deferral until December to support partner community and the creation of new data migration services
Laplink® Software, Inc., the global leader in PC migration and creator of the only software of its kind recommended by Microsoft®, Intel® and all major PC manufacturers, today announced its “Move Now, Pay Later” partner stimulus program that enables IT service professionals to realize the benefits of PCmover Business, with greater flexibility in payment models. The program empowers Laplink’s partner community to quickly and with minimal upfront cost create new data migration services to provide additional streams of revenue, or reduce the cost to deliver existing services. Both choices deliver increased profits and improved cash flow, which is further improved with the deferred billing option of “Move Now, Pay Later.”
PCmover Business automatically transfers all user profiles, applications, settings and data from one PC to another and saves on average over $338 per migrated PC compared to manual migration processes. A key benefit is reduced post-migration support costs, with some organizations able to save over $100,000 in help desk costs annually. Laplink’s PCmover Business Technician licensing is designed for SMB organizations, MSPs, Systems Integrators and IT service professionals leveraging PCmover to regularly deploy PCs and upgrade Windows OS. It provides the flexibility and scalability to only pay for what you need, when you need it.
“We weren’t entirely sure how to forecast how often we’re going to use PCmover, so having a license from Laplink where we can use the software to help replace up to 50 PCs per month and pay as we go was very helpful.”
In fact, Whidbey Tech Solutions, an IT consultant and Laplink partner, leverages the Business Technician License program to unlock new levels of flexibility. As a result, they can worry less about monthly budgets and remain focused on their main goal – keeping clients’ technology operating smoothly.
Whidbey Technician David Cooney noted, “We weren’t entirely sure how to forecast how often we’re going to use PCmover, so having a license from Laplink where we can use the software to help replace up to 50 PCs per month and pay as we go was very helpful.”
Laplink’s Partner Program offers a standard, exclusive partnership discount of 20% off all Laplink products. Additionally, the new “Move Now, Pay Later” program is available to join through June 30, 2020, and allows IT service professionals to purchase any tier of Laplink’s PCmover Business Technician License and defer the subsequent monthly usage invoices until December 2020.
“Laplink is committed to making PC migration easier and lowering the total cost of PC ownership. For our partner community, that means reducing deployment time and related costs, while increasing efficiency and end-user satisfaction,” said Thomas Koll, CEO of Laplink. “While PCmover continues to save the IT team time, our ‘Move Now, Pay Later’ program improves the economics even more. Right now, this commitment is more important than ever as many businesses are facing cash flow strains due to the impact of COVID-19. Our hope is that this program alleviates some of that stress and opens new opportunities for our partners.”
